March - Signature of the Order № 63С of the Ministry of Aviation Industry of the USSR regarding the transfer of design documentation for the serial production of AN-72 on Kharkiv State Aircraft Manufacturing Enterprise (KSAMC). Previously, AN-72 was produced on Kiev State Aircraft Manufacturing Сonsociation (Moscow, USSR)

8-17 June - AN-72 participates in Paris Air Show (Paris, France)


1980

4 December - Signature of the Order № 519 of the Ministry of Aviation Industry of the USSR regarding the launch of works to prepare serial production of AN-72 and AN-74 on KSAMC (the latter became a civil version of AN-72 for flights at high latitudes) (Moscow, USSR)


1983

November - AN-72 sets world records for the maximum altitude of 13,410m (44,000 feet) and the height of horizontal flight of 12,980m (42,500 feet) for this type of aircraft (Kiev, USSR)


1984

29 November - first flight of AN-72P, a patrol version of AN-72, using aircraft weapons (Kiev, USSR)

3 June - KSAMC signs Contract with the Ministry of Defence of Iran to deliver 12 AN-74T-200 and AN-74TK-200 airplanes (Tehran, Iran)

27 November - celebratory transfer of the first serial AN-72P to the State Border Guard of Ukraine forces (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

December - activation of the Contract with Iran’s Ministry of Defence to deliver 12 AN-74 airplanes of different modifications (Kharkiv, Tehran)


1997

25 February - KSAMC signs Agreement with the Government of Laos through A/O “Aviaexport” to sell AN-74TK-100 (Vientiane, Laos)

19 April - First An-74T-200 is sent in accordance with the contract to deliver 12 AN-74Т-200 and AN-74ТК-200 to Iran (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

May-June - AN-74TK-200 (registration number UR-74038; serial number 16-05; year of release: 1992) is prepared to take part in Le Bourget 1997 air show. Creation of a new blue and white branding of AN-74 KSAMC aircraft and the new aircraft interior (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

14-22 June - KSAMC and InterAMI (KSAMC Trade Chamber) participate in Le Bourget 1997 air show. A full-scale design of the new AN-74TK-200 interior (passenger - convertible version) had been presented. The interior was created by the British firm Barrie Weaver Associates upon the order of KSAMC Trade Chamber (Paris, France)

August - AN-74TK-200 makes a demonstration flight across countries of South Asia, following a Kharkiv – Tehran (Iran) – Delhi (India) – Taipei (Taiwan) – Bangkok (Thailand) – Dehli (India) – Moscow (Russia) – Kharkiv route. Total length of the demonstration flight: 35,000 km


1998

23-29 March - KSAMC and InterAMI delegation demonstrate AN-74TK-200 at FIDAE-98 international air exhibition (Santiago, Chile)

31 March - AN-74TK-100 is transferred to the Government of Laos (Vientiane, Laos)

27 April - AN-74TK-200 is demonstrated in Amman (Jordan)

7-13 September - Participation in Farnborough 1998 air show (London, United Kingdom)


1999

13-20 June - KSAMC delegation demonstrates AN-74TK-200 during Le Bourget ’99 air show (Paris, France)

September - start of cooperation with “Elekroavtomatika” (St. Petersburg, Russia) regarding the development of new navigation systems for AN-74

November - specialists from “Antonov” Design Scientific-Technical Complex visit “InterAMI-Interior” to conduct audit of the design and production processes for Antonov airplanes (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

September - InterAMI presents VIP versions of L-410, Yak-40, Yak-42, AN-74ТК-300 и AN-74ТК-200

2-5 November - Presentation of AN-74TK-200 in Baghdad. The airrcraft flew to the no-fly zone upon the personalised authorisation from the United Nations Security Council (Baghdad, Iraq)

March - start of the serial production of new passenger interiors for AN-140, AN-74ТК-300 and AN-74ТК-200

20 April - first flight of AN-74ТК-300 (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

9 September - AN-74TK-300 acquires a type certificate from the Aircraft Registry of International Aviation Committee (Moscow, Russia)

11 November - AN-140 and AN-74TK-300 successfully completed the Kharkiv – Kish Island (Iran) – Zhuhai (China) – Ras al-Khaimah (UAE) –Kharkiv flight to take part in Iran Airshow-2002 and Airshow China-2002. Total length of the flight: 20,635 km.

1 December - promotional flight Kharkiv-Vienna-Kharkiv for Russian and Ukrainian journalists (Ukraine-Austria)

August - demonstration of AN-74TK-300D VIP registration number UR-LDK to the President of Ukraine’s heads of security (Kharkiv, Ukraine)

2 November - KSAMC wins a tender of the Ministry of Defence of Egypt for a contract on three AN-74T-200A for the Egypt’s Air Force with a subsequent option to sell six more AN-74T-200A additionally (Cairo, Egypt)

November - End of fulfilling the order to refurbishment AN-74TK-300D VIP to be used by “Ukraine” State Enterprise (Kharkiv-Kiev, Ukraine)

June - presentation of AN-74TK-300D VIP and AN-140 to Ilhan Aliyev, President of Azerbaijan, at Boryspil airport (Kiev, Ukraine)

19-20 September - KSAMC participates in Aviasvit XXI air show with its AN-140-100 and AN-74TK-200. Issues regarding the creation of the State Concern “Antonov” had been discussed (Kiev, Ukraine)

10-21 February - AN-74TK-100 conducts a return flight to Venezuela via Kharkiv – Valencia (Spain) – Sal, Cape Verde – Forfaleza (Brazil) – Caracas (Venezuela)

17 February - KSAMC signs a Agreement (Summario) with Venezuela’s Ministry of Defence to deliver AN-74 and AN-140 airplanes of different modifications (Maracay, Venezuela)

May - KSAMC signs a contract to sell six AN-74T-200A and its spare parts to the Ministry of Defence of UAE under financial guarantees from KSAMC (Abu Dhabi, UAE)


2011

9 July - first serial AN-74TK-200 (previously AN-74TK-200S produced under the contract with Libya) conducts its flight. The aircraft was sold to the Turkmenistan’s Air Force (Kharkiv, Ukraine)


2012

June - Second AN-74TK-200 is transferred to the Turkmenistan’s Air Force (previously, these aircraft were intended to be sold to Libya in a different modification of AN-74T-200S) (Kharkiv-Ashgabat)


2014

May - AN-74T-200A is transferred to the State Border Guards of Kazakhstan (Kharkiv-Astana)
